Fees

All fees are due to be paid on the first day of care for the week.

Before School Care

  • $10.00 Permanent
  • $12.00 Casual


After School Care

  • $13.00 Permanent
  • $16.00 Casual


Vacation Care & Pupil Free Days

  • $45.00 for the whole day, this includes meals & excursions. The is also offers fee relief to eligible through the family assistance office.

  • The provider number is need to be given to the family Assistance Office to be eligible for the reduce fees.

Enrollment Fee

The service has an enrolment fee $10.00 for Vacation Care, for Before & After school Care $30.00. Combined fee of $40.00 per year per family is due with enrollment details.
Fee Relief is available to all families to reduce the cost of care.
The service is a member of the National Childcare Accreditation service.
The service is funded by the Department Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR)   

Service hours of Operations

Before School Care: 6:00am - 9:00am
After School Care: 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Vacation Care & Pupil Free Days: 6:00am - 6:00pm

The service is open 50 weeks of the year.

Location in school grounds

The service are situated in the school grounds of Beresfield Public School, Lawson Ave, Beresfield. We are  near the old canteen building in the quad area. Please contact Staff on  0421 435 840

Picking up childern from school

Staff wait for  the Woodberry Primary children in Lawson Avenue to arrive and then are accompanied back by a staff member across the School walking zone into the school grounds. Staff wait for Beresfield children in a all weather condition spot. Where children meet staff and go into OOSH.

  • Our service promotes healthy eating. Through providing the children with a variety of healthy foods to broaden their taste buds.
  • Our service is willing to meet the needs of the children, families' community who use the service.

Age group care is provided for:

Children who are enrolled in kindergarten & Early Learners who will be turning 5 year olds on or before the commencing  of school year.

  • Children who are 12 yrs at the end of year (6) six.
  • Vacation Care: 5yrs to 11yrs
                       11 yrs6mths to 15yrs

Breakfast

The service supplies breakfast for the children at no additional charge.
Choice: Weetbix, Cornflakes,Toast, Raisin toast, Crumpets, Muffins, Orange juice, Pineapple juice, Apple juice

Afternoon Tea

We serve a variety of nutritional foods from the five food groups with the children having an input into the foods that are offered.

Special Dietary Needs

Please inform staff on enrolment if your children need to have a special diet. The service will ensure that these needs are meet.

Vacation Care Meals

The service provide all meals for your child while in care. The children have variety of fruits, savory biscuits, cheese and other healthy foods for morning & afternoon tea. Lunch is a variety of hot & cold healthy foods offered to assist children in learning about healthy eating & other cultures.

Excursions

The Cost of excursion are include in the daily fee.  Private buses with seat belts transport children to & from excursions. Excursion are general within Newcastle, Maitland  & Port Stephens area.

Recreational Activities

The service can transport children to & from training session within the local area please ask how this can be offered.

Homework Club

The staff can sit down with your child &  assist with their homework. Please ask staff if you require them to help your child.
